I left UAE one year ago. I couldn't go back within the legal VISA period. Now I wish to go on Tourist visa for job hunt. How can I check whether my old visa file is cleared or not? A: All visas should be properly canceled even if someone is leaving the UAE or able to stay on a tourist visa, as they can have problems when attempting to re-enter the country on a visit visa. It is also not possible to obtain a new residency visa if the old one has not been properly canceled.
